Although being born and raised in the Warner Robins area, it did not take long for Dr. Linda Arnold to feel the magnetic pull of the community of Gray and surrounding areas. After graduating valedictorian from high school, she pursued a career in Radiology Technology but quickly realized God was guiding her to continue to advance her education and ultimately calling her to Medicine. She then went on to attend and graduate from Mercer University then Mercer Medical School. Following residency, she planted her roots firmly in Jones County, raising her 3 children (Sommer, Erica, and Storm), and maintaining her practice for 30 years. Gray Family Health has been a part of the community for 30 years with Dr. Arnold taking over the ownership in totality in 2008. She currently oversees 27 employees with several being a part of the practice for over 15 years and two employees have worked with her for more than 20 years. Most of her employees are also current residents of Jones County. She is the medical director and supervising physician of 4 Nurse Practitioners and 1 physician. Collaborating with her team, they provide care for not only patients in the office but also for home visits as well as adapted to telehealth as society has evolved. Her practice's mission statement is caring for patients across the lifespan but that is not limited to work within the walls of her practice. She also oversees the medical protocols for the Jones County school system and has been the treating physician for the Jones County Sheriff’s office for 30 years, treating inmates in the jail and providing screenings and office visits for the personnel as needed. She also completes DOT physicals for many businesses as well. Among her many titles and accomplishments, she maintains the title of Board-Certified Family Practice physician through the American Board of Medical Specialties. She has accreditations with the American Academy of Family practice as well as with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, all of which allow her to continue to further her knowledge and continue to provide up to date care for her patients with her overflowing compassion and love for her career. She is a cornerstone to the community, a role model to her co-workers, loyal friend, devoted mother, and a God-fearing Christian above all else.
