Recycling
The Gray/Jones County Recycling Center is located on Industrial Boulevard in Gray. This is a 24-hour drop-off for recyclables only. County dumpsters are provided at locations throughout the County for household garbage. Within the County, there are six Convenience Centers that accept both trash and recyclables.

Sewage & Garbage
City of Gray – Sewer connection service is provided through the City of Gray. There is a fee for connection and an inspection fee. Garbage collection is provided through a cooperative arrangement with Advanced Disposal with a collection fee charged. “White Goods Pickup” is provided by the City as a service for disposing of old furniture and appliances. Yard pickup is every third Saturday. Call City Hall for the next scheduled pickup. Contact the business office at (478) 986-2201. |
Jones County – Advanced Disposal Services, Southland Waste Systems of Georgia, and Clean Rite Sanitation also provide some residential garbage pickup within the more populated areas of the county. Weekly service is provided with the company furnishing a 95-gallon cart for curbside pickup. Billing is done quarterly.
