Jones County Schools, a public education system for city and county residents, has four elementary schools, two middle schools, a ninth-grade academy, and a comprehensive high school. In addition to the public school system, Gray has a strong homeschool network for educational options to meet the needs of individual students and families. Additionally, the community is home to Central Georgia Technical College a higher-education institution.
